The 12-month engineering plan that I built 6 months ago - quarterly plan, hiring plan, integration roadmap - is now irrelevant. Just ran a bunch of agent with Claude Code, and wrapped up the features in a couple of days.

I think the rules of the game have changed now. It is no longer about plans and roadmaps; if you are in leadership, it is about solving any problem creatively. Figuring out processes creatively. Previously fullstack was limited to engineering; now it is about being a fullstack leader.

Part of the problem is also that all markets are moving very fast. If your changes are incremental in nature, they cannot be planned into a roadmap. The plans have to be big swings that hit it out of the park.
