Welcome to PiLFS!Linux From Scratch on the Raspberry Pi Dedicated to help you build your own complete GNU/Linux distribution for the Pi. Everything is based on the original Linux From Scratch project with additional tweaks and build recipes for the Pi. We track the stable version of LFS: r12.0 We compile everything natively on the Pi itself, no cross-compiling is done. What's New? May 19 2021 Building for aarch64 is now as easy as specifying RPI_MODEL=64 in the build scripts. December 3 2020 The RPi 4 image should now be working with the Raspberry Pi 400. If you do have one, please let me know! April 23 2020 Added EEPROM updater to Raspberry Pi 4 image. Type rpi-eeprom-update -a -d to update to the latest FIRMWARE_RELEASE_STATUS as specified in /etc/default/rpi-eeprom-update (critical, stable or beta).
